Soya Bean (Glycine Max) contains approximately 18-20 percent oil and 25 percent protein. The oil contains approximately 23 percent oleic acid and 8 percent linoleic acids.
Due to Uganda’s climate, there are two planting seasons per year: the first runs between March and April and the second season between August and September. Harvesting soya bean for the first season takes place between June and July, while the second season takes place in December and January.
