MUNG BEANS

Mung Beans (Vigna radiata) contains about 20-30 percent protein In Uganda, mung beans are grown mainly in Eastern and Northern parts of the country. 80% of the crop is grown from September and December each year.

Mung beans are high in nutrients and antioxidants. They promote weight loss, lower blood pressure and sugar levels.

At Outspan Agric we look at about 700 metric tons each year.
